Introduction to Letterpress
1 day course – 10.30am – 5.30pm
In this one-day course, students will be introduced to the Vandercook flatbed cylinder press. We will cover the basic operation of the press and the vocabulary of letterpress printing. We will discuss the variety of relief printing techniques that are possible on letterpress machines.
By the end of the day, students will expose and print from a polymer plate made from a digital file
