In the Print Studio – Sara Beazley

Print Studio user Sara Beazley has spent the last few weeks working on images from a recent trip to the USA.  Sara was fascinated by the drive-by signs off the highway, towering, brash liquor signs reminiscent of a 1950′s postcard of America.

Initially Sara used photopolymer plates to print these photographs, then working over them with inked up lace, embossing into the print.  Finally, Sara is using silkscreens of other iconic 50′s imagery, the pin-up, to finish each of these unique prints.
