Choose the important parts of your synopsis to highlight – keep your pitch succinct.
Pitch with confidence and passion – believe in your idea.
If you have written a synopsis, I wouldn’t recommend handing it to the person you’re pitching to straight away – hand it to them at the end for them to keep.
If you have the attention of the person opposite you, then engage them by talking through your pitch (avoid reading from a synopsis directly).
Don’t rush the pitch, even if you think the other person is too busy to listen to you.’
