Open Studio on 23rd September 2017
Open Studio – Saturday 23rd September 2017
We are pleased to be opening our doors to the public for a special open day event in the studio, to coincide with London Design Festival 2017. Visitors will be able to see the print studio as it’s intended, with numerous artists printing their work in the screen printing, etching and lithography areas. Questions will be welcomed from the public to the artists, technicians and members of staff. Please feel free to bring in your own work if you would like some help with ideas for developing your project. The digital studio will also be open for viewing and for questions about our digital inkjet printing services.
2.30pm – 5.30pm Artists at Work in the studio
Drop in throughout the day to learn about becoming a member, our courses, and the many opportunities we have to offer at londonprintstudio.
Catch our latest exhibition in the gallery, ‘What is to be Done’. This installation celebrates the drama and chaos of the Russian art and design revolution and has been created by three contemporary artists – Lutz Becker, Andrzej Klimowski and John Phillips. All three have been profoundly influenced by revolutionary Russian art at different stages in their careers. Referencing Russian installation artist Kabakov, this multi media show uses photography, photocollage, film, print, and illustration to construct a unique environment.
