Mythili: Desi Gods and Goddesses of the 21st Century

Mythili is an emerging young British artist from an Asian background. Her work explores the construction of contemporary identity, engaging with Western celebrity culture as well as Indian images and legends. Mythili has already attracted interest from collectors and galleries. Working with a rebellious spirit, she combines traditional and new technologies in her painting and printmaking. Like Chris Ofili and Yinka Shonibare she blends distinct traditions with comtemporary art practice. This exhibition at londonprintstudio is her first solo show in London
