Print Studio Internship

We are currently looking to recruit a recent art graduate, or current student who would be interested in gaining some experience in our printstudio. Our printstudio offers access sessions in our fully-equipped, purpose built facilities that can be booked by anyone with prior experience of the printmaking technique they would like to use.   We also offer a wider range of print making courses.

The trainee will receive a travel and food expenses budget for two days per week. In addition you will receive a voucher permitting use of londonprintstudio's open access facilities (in line with studio rules). Interns will not be able to use the facilities on their scheduled work days. The cost of materials is not included.

Aims of the internship
• to provide interns with experience of working in a professional arts organisation
• to provide interns with transferable skills
• to support londonprintstudio's development

The training programme will include:
• Assisting visitors and resource users
• Stock control and distributing of materials
• Equipment and resource maintenance
• Working in a team
• Admin
• Provide assistance with courses and one to one training
• Planning and delivering family art activities in the gallery and local community

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a CRB check.

• Front of House and Customer Service
• Assisting visitors and resource users
• Stock control and budgeting of materials
• Equipment and resource maintenance
• Administration
• Working in a team
• Marketing

The trainee will receive a travel and food expenses budget for two days per week.
