londonprintstudio offers the opportunity to work as member of a small team to develop an exciting forthcoming art exhibition called, Groove Grove Graphics.
The Groove Grove Graphics exhibition will feature graphics and music celebrating the musical history (1940's - present) of inner West London (Paddington , Notting Hill, Westbourne Park, North Kensington, Harrow Road, Maida Vale). The area was a focus for new immigrants from the West Indies in the 40's and 50's, is home to the annual Notting Hill Carnival. In the 60's the area was home to experimental and underground music, ska and reggae, to punk in the 1970's, as well as having a strong jazz scene throughout. Record companies operating in the area have included Island Records, Stiff, Chrysalis, Trojan, Virgin as well as thousands of small independents.
An exciting internship has become available:
- Social Networking and Marketing Intern
Two days a week for three months. A contribution to travel expenses and food is made. The programme is applied for by application form and interview.

The Social networking, PR and Marketing Intern opportunity is for an arts graduate or equivalent to enhance social networking and new media skills, creating a community of interest working as a member of a team creating the Groove Grove Graphics exhibition which opens in June 2010 and promoting a number of innovative events following it's launch.
