youngartists'programme 2009 - book from January!
no hype - just life londonprintstudio is offering artists aged 16 to 24 an opportunity to learn how to create images using state of the art equipment. You interested? Check out the taster sessions and workshops on offer below. Information packs and registration forms will be available January 2009! Download an information pack, and fill in the registration form. Most of the courses are FREE, but you will need to leave a £10 DEPOSIT that we will REFUND when you complete the course. Cancel at least 7 days before the course starts and you'll GET YOUR MONEY BACK! If you would like us to post a pack to you, give us a ring at 0208 969 3247. Return it by post, drop in into the studio, or email the information back to us. Places are limited so . . . taster - illustrator plus 1
03 february	tuesday	11.00am to 3.00pm	6 places	FREE*
Create vector graphics and turn them into vinyl transfers, which can then be put onto walls and windows. (Level - beginners)

04 february	wednesday	11.00am to 3.00pm	6 places	FREE*
Create computer vector drawings with Adobe Illustrator and turn them into silkscreen prints. (Level - beginners)
windowlicious - graphics workshop
17, 24 february & 03 march	tuesdays	10.30am to 4.30pm	6 places	FREE*
Design illustrations and graphics for shop windows and displays around London, using Adobe Illustrator software with vinyl transfers.
straight curves - graphics workshop
18, 25 february & 04 march	wednesdays	10.30am to 4.30pm	6 places	FREE*
Using your own drawings, doodles, and sketches, create sharp computer graphics with Adobe Illustrator Software. Learn how to control colour, size, shape, and more, and then print onto large canvases!
BE A* - printmaking portfolio workshop
17 & 18 february	tuesday & wednesday	10.30am to 4.30pm	6 places	£94.00
This two-day course is aimed at GCSE and A’ level students who would like to explore printmaking. Explore techniques such as drypoint etching, monoprinting and collograph. Take your creative skills to the next level.
super size me - graphic screenprinting workshop

create your own MASSIVE silkscreen printed digital illustration with Adobe Photoshop.
strip down - comic book workshop
14, 21 & 28 march	saturdays	10.30am to 4.30pm	12 places	FREE*
Work with a professional Comic Artist in this 3-day workshop. Learn HOW to tell a story using pictures and words (Sequential Art) and produce a printed book.
