open access -
printstudio open access sessions in our fully-equipped,
purpose built facilities can be booked by anyone with prior experience
of the printmaking technique they would like to use. Our customers include:
professional and amateur artists, graphic designers, illustrators, students,
schools and researchers.
Printmaking techniques available;
• Etching (including photo-etching).
• Block Printing (eg. wood cut & lino).
• Collagraph.
• Stone Lithography.
• Hand-drawn plate Lithography.
• Screenprinting (water based inks on paper, not suitable for textile
printing)
printstudio open-access sessions provide use of the printmaking presses
and equipment. During printstudio open-access sessions technical support
is not available. If you require training or assistance please book onto
one of our short courses, or a one to one training session.

Sessions are three hours long and sessions must be booked
in advance.
londonprintstudio is closed for one day each month for
stock-taking and maintenance. It is closed over Christmas, New Year and
Easter and August Bank Holiday. Please telephone 020 8969 3247 to book
a session.
to start using the printstudio open-access facilities

Registration is valid for one year and provides:

Vouchers are valid for one year. One session equals 3 hours. Purchase

Concessions* on the registration and session prices are available for:
Westminster Rescard holders, Westminster Youth card holders, unemployed,

Please note that two working days notice is required for open access session
cancellations.
printstudio materials
Some materials are included in the open access session fee. These include:
acid, tissue, grounds.
A range of materials can be purchased from londonprintstudio during the
first half-hour of each session: 10.30 - 11.00am / 2.30 -3.00pm /&
on tues & wed 6.00 - 6.30 pm
If you would like to bring your own materials please check they conform
to londonprintstudio health and safety requirements.
Please note there is no facility for storage of materials.
